T.J. is an associate scout with the San Diego Padres. T.J. was a four year letter winner at North Hagerstown High School from 2001-2004 in Hagerstown, MD. He signed a National Letter of Intent to East Carolina University where he lettered four years. During his tenure at ECU he was selected for the Freshman All Conference USA team. He also was a two-time Second Team All-Conference USA selection, two-time All Conference USA Conference Pitcher of the Week, two-time College Baseball Foundation National Honor Roll recipient, and named the Collegebaseballinsider.com Regional Player-of-the-Week. T.J. played in the prestigious Cape Cod League where he was selected to the 2007 Under Armour All-Star game. In 2008, Hose was named to the Brooks Wallace Player of the Year Watch list. After ECU, Hose was selected in the 2008 MLB Amateur Draft in the 36th round to the Arizona Diamondbacks. He played three years in the D-backs organization. During the 2009 season, he was named a Midwest League All-Star. After the 2009 season, T.J. was named the Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League Pitcher-of-the-Year by MLB.com. Hose also spent time in the Boston Red Sox organization. After the 2014 season, Hose was an Atlantic League All-Star. Over his seven year professional career, Hose compiled a 16-28 career record with 23 Saves and a 3.64 ERA over 360.2 innings pitched with a 323 K to 143 BB in 241 games.
